be easy, I don't claim that my car is the s***, but I'm trying to make it respectable on the little money that I have to spend on it. It's actually gone through quite a transformation since I bought it, if you wanna see, please visit my humble beginnings of a blog at http://lonelydrift.blogspot.com ...
and i'd appreciate it if those of you on blogspot would add the lonely_drift crew to your homies list!
anyways, here's the lonely coupe!

Are you out of your mind? I had projectors and they were UTTER CRAP as far as their light output. Unless you retrofitted some TSX projectors or something, they're horrible, not to mention a little dangerous. Double/triple projectors work about as well as an s13 dome light for night visibility.

yeah, I'm definitely a slam whore, was trying to make it as low as in my sig!! hahah.
unfortunately, I scrape exhaust on EVERYTHING now. I may have to raise the rear A BIT... like, only an eighth or a quarter of an inch, and I still need to remove the top collar for the spring seat to max out the fronts.
then it should be perfect.
edit: and yes, I would definitely enjoy a pair of bricks, but I really cannot justify spending 300 plus on some headlights when I have a pair already. hah.
we'll see. I'd like to do a kouki front on this car in the future anyways. but thats just a dream right now. car needs so much work.

love the stance... up some camber and you'd be perfect. the little smic vent is cute too.

I have camber plates too, but I will wait to do the fine tuning untill I remove the front collars and raise the rear just a tad, hopefully it will sit flush all around then! if not there's always spacers.
hahah

^^ coo, thanks man. yeah, you'rs no doubt referring to the rears eh? they were actually flush before I rolled and slightly pulled them (I had to, literally would have sliced through my tires in a day) and that way I was able to tuck some decent tire.
yeah... I was referring to the rears. imho, I'd rather spend money on rucas than spacers if you wanted more flush in the rears. Plus you'll worry less about having to flip tires to make them last longer... if you know what I mean
but over all.. I'm loving the look man. Probably some oe sideskirts, matching rear valances, and a lip should give it that finishing touch

I would leave it as it is, minus the wheels. Some other 16x8 +0 wheels that aren't sportmax would be DOOPPEE.

thanks dude!... but uh... i love my wheels. I don't have a complex about what brand my wheels are or how much they cost... besides, they are literally the best size and best looking wheel with the best lip for the price. they are temporary anyways, so it's all good. you used to have some on your car too ya basta'd.
I'm not a sportmax hater or I wouldn't have bought them. different strokes my friend. though I'm sure I will get bored of the gold and spray them all white eventually. you might like that a bit more.
AZ- yeah.... tell me about it.... ugh. I have no idea. fenders were cheesed up to begin with. don't fret.. I have some 20mm m-sport venteds waiting to be fitted and put on. as for the rocker/underside.... I can only assume that the dumbass kid who owned the car before me tried jacking the car up there..... so dumb... either that or he crashed it over a curb trying to do some one tire fires.... either way.... it was dumb.
not sure If theres anything I can do about that... but some sideskirts should do the trick!

I'm with you man. thanks. That's actually what I plan on doing when i get some more money. that way the car will look complete and clean while I start to focus my money on internals and suspension (RUCAs most likely being part of that setup)
pretty much everything right now is temporary. like I said, my goal is a kouki coupe with baller fitment and of course much more power. I'm trying to be patient with it all.
thanks for the love fellas. the sportmaxes are here to stay for a while though. just bought em, and I love em.

But yeah I'm liking the look and stance for sure. If you want to keep those wheel I'd suggest that you paint them to be a solid color just so it doesn't scream sportsmax Q__Q;

nah. the stretch on these is absolutely perfect, it's mild and makes the options for possible fitment endless.
I was thinking about going with a taller sidewall to perhaps make my ground clearance a bit better, but in the end I realized no matter what I had it would be slammed to the ground anyways. hahah. I'm happy with the tire sizes. they fit my needs and wants. again, it's all preference.
thank you though! yeah, I actually bought these thinking I was gonna paint them white right away... so it's definitely in the plans for the near future... just thought i'd let those lips shine for a while! hahah.

I love your car man. Stance, and the aero bumper with the smic cutout is fresh as hell. I go to school in Tacoma man, you should show me some spots around the seattle area
thanks dude! if by "spots" you mean drift spots, there is a perfect one right there in tacoma! it's a good hour drive or so from my place, but I try to make it out there once a month or so. just gotta have money for gas and tires!
and if you meant "spots" as in photo locations... well, those are all over the place. hahah. you should come to some events sometime. I haven't been at any lately because of financial issues (they are getting way too pricey now) but I generally try to be there, driving or not.

hahah NICE! thank you!
I REALLY like that photo because my car is just as beat up and rugged as that old barn behind it, and the composition and angle are almost perfect.
it really shows the character of my car right now. I try to do my best with a point and shoot camera. I wish I could afford a good one, I think I have a natural ability to take good shots. just trying to make them something more to look at for you guys!

y does everyone hate ur wheels... ur car makes me wanna do the s13 silvia conversion.... and then i see how many there are here and remember why im goin kouki s14 instead lol
so far noone has expressed to me that they hate them... onl 2 people have complained about them being sportmaxes but I think we all understand what goes into that argument... and since I like them and they are temporary good fitting good lookin wheels, I think people are down for them.
thanks! meh, well... in the end, everyone has every kind of car anyways... once you start looking for a certain kind of car you notice a lot more of them. that's just how it is. which is why I don't care. I make my car to fit my personality and give it my own unique style. so that no matter how many people have them, mine is and will always be my own. ya dig? hahah
actually that's an interesting topic altogether.... I find it funny how people say "everyone has one now" about a 20 year old car... the truth is, everyone has already had them forever... they just circulate ownership and or get wrecked... so if anything... over time they are becoming much more rare. just seems that way because all of your close homies have the same taste in cars as you/I/we do.

wow. I love you! heheh... yeah, if you can't already tell, it's actually a rattle can job that I did myself. if you check the blog you'll see what it looked like when i got it!
I have new fenders waiting to be fitted, and sometime after this summer probably I will get it ready for a decent, real spray. I want to focus on more important things though soon.
thanks again. truly.

ya, i meant drift/grip places. I'm definitely down to do some events if you know a place that lists them. I keep seeing pics from WA events, and I've tried searching (not very hard) and come up with nothin. I should be back up there around early to mid august to find an apartment, but I'd be down to meet some other 240 owners in the area and reek a lil havok.
Evergreen speedway (which now hosts D1gp events) has events a lot fmore often now... but they are so pricey. Bremerton motorsports park has drift days too, and a few others. go to NWNissans.com if you haven't already my friend!

thanks! and yeah. I wasn't very sold on them either but they are growing on me... also, I bought them with the intent to one day get bricks to make them flow much better, and also make the rest of the car compliment them as well... so as they are right now isn't really what I had in mind for them, but I HAD to buy them because the car only had one OEM amber corner when I picked it up... it was cheaper to go with some origin clears, and in the end I will want them anyways.... but you're right, they're just kinda... there right now... but I kinda like em now.

hah... why would I be afraid of some great looking/ fitting wheels for a great price? I do my stuff for ME, and right now, these wheels are MY wheels. don't care how many people have them, don't care how many people hate them, cuz I like em for now. done deal.
yup, will do some adjusting here and there. just need some time off of work and trying to get into school.
