Nice lookin ride, mate. But, beware of the risks...that's all I am saying. And welcome to the Skyline club. (Beware though, the R33 doesn't get the love that the other two ugly brothers get. You're driving an overweight hippo in the eyes of many.)

OP, congrats! Yours looks like the negative of mine. (I need to post pics)

So what is the deal with the bloated, heavy, hippo blah blah about the R33? I've seen it here & there and don't really get it. I mean, seriously, how much of a weight difference is there?

To each their own, but I prefer the look of the R33 over a 2 or a 4. I saw all of them in person and the 32 was a little dated, IMHO, and the 34 rear kinda reminded me of a late 80's ealry 90's NX just because of the squared rear end.

Don't get me wrong, I have lots o love for all things, and Nissans in particular, but what gives with all the infighting?

The risks of owning a grey market, non-fedrally legal car in the U.S. Especially a Skyline.

There is a thread about a guy who has had his R32 impounded and the troubles he is going through. Read through it.

It's longer, taller and wider than the R32 and R34, plus it's quite a bit heavier. Even in Japan, the R33 isn't too popular. But, hey. I am not known for following trends, so why buck the cycle now and get what everyone else wants/has?

There is some debate about the R33 and R34 and which one is better balanced. If you talk to the hardcore Skyline people, they can agree that the R34 is the better car, but the R33 has the best overall balance in terms of weight distribution, handeling characteristics. If I remember right, it may also have a beter drag coefficient than the R34, too.

That's a smart move right now, Cali is having a crack down that started over at Kaizo and RB Motoring. The less of a paper trail the better off you are right now.

nice looking.. and the R33 is the best IMO. and you can try an ISIS intake manifold , is cheaper than greddy and works good, it has good reviews so far that i know.
