If so, check your battery's power, make sure the cables are tight, no corrosion on the cables. If there is corrosion, clean it off using baking soda, toothbrush and water. Make sure it's completely dried before re-connecting.
If it's none of the above, it could possibly be the starter or some part of it.

I confirmed all the recalls were dealt with when I bought the car from a nissan dealership in november of 08.
have there been any recalls since then that I don't know about?
I know another person who had an 02 or 03 spec v that had the same issue (don't want to call it a problem bc it's not, more irritating than anything)
