will sometime work or not work. Replaced the battery and re-programed. Even replaced the remote. Something to look for in the control module under the seat?

I am having similar issues with a new remote.

having problems with my 01 path remotes as well
1 of em works fine on "lock" and requires a hard push to unlock
the other one stopped working even after replacing the battery
kinda frustraing especially when my mom's 13 year old's windstar's remotes work flawlessly on their 2nd battery
