So here is what we're starting with...

So far I've gotten the Sunny GTS front bumper and side skirts.
I'm working on getting the Tsuru Grille, headlights, and steering wheel.
I've already gotten my JDM amber corners also.
My plans are to use the 2009 Tsuru Grill, and then on the Sunny bumper we're cutting out the grilles at the bottom to leave a good size opening for a future det intercooler as well as smoothing over the bumper where the license plate would of went.
I've already purchased the Azure Blue paint that goes on the 2009 Altima coupe...
I got a set of 99 Sentra 15 inch rims also, I coudln't pass up the deal at $32.00 dollars a rim...
Here is a pic of one that I refinished using the duplicolor wheel paint.

But...I figured since I won't get the other three wheels until next week that I'd go ahead and make my current 14 inchers look a little better...
Before...

And After...

I seen this Sentra on Cardomain. Clean the Car bro, Nice find Where are you ordering the parts from? How many miles do you have? |
On cardomain eh? Either its a different car or the previous owner had it on there...bought it about 3 weeks ago for $1200.00.
I used car-parts.com to locate some junkyard wheels, bought the JDM corners/bumper/side skirts from ebay.
I'm afraid if I clean it, it won't have any paint left!
The only clear coat left is on the sides of the body, but thats fine as soon as I get my ca18det B12 back I'm going to send this to the paint shop (hopefully in 2-3 weeks).
Then I'm gonna get some H & R's and adj shocks, and go ahead with the front and rear disc/caliper upgrades and paint up the wheel wells etc as well as put on these new wheels.
The interior is pretty much trash too, looks like a guy went nuts with a staple gun to hold up the headliner. I'm going to have it redone with either leather or imitation leather.
The motor has 236,000 miles and smokes a lil, but has solid compression. I'll drive it for probably a year or so then do a DET conversion, it should be 10x easier than the B12 ca18det conversion I'd hope.

| Nice Sentra Bro, Have you thought of getting coilovers? Also KYB GR-2 are good Stuts and KYB AGX also. Here are some web sites to look at Octanemotorsports.com Drivewire.com Carstuff.com Slickcar.com I wish I had a SR20DE too. Good luck I can't wait too see more Pictures |
I was actually thinking of some H&R springs and Kyb AGX's yesterday, I'll probably do the Nx2000 brake upgrade and maxima rear upgrade at the same time if I do.
I just bought a 93 1.6 yesterday that has a few minor problems for $400, gonna fix it and sell it for around 2k to fund my build on this car.

how much lower did you go? Are you going to keep that ride height or just keep it that way. Did you do all the work yourself Man, Nice work you defiantly deserve a COLD one
Good jobBut yes thats the ride height, it was supposed to be a 1 inch drop all around, looks a little more to me but it rides fine and handles unbelieveably.

I put NX2000 calipers on the front with powerslot rotors and on the rear JDM NX2000 rotors with Maxima calipers. Along with goodridge stainless steel brake lines and an altima master cylinder. While I was at it, I painted up the wheel wells. Phew!
Pics!

I took the car to the paint shop and began tearing it down. So in 3 hours I had it tore apart and ready to get start with sanding/paint.

ALSO, here is a pic of my Sunny Bumper painted (yes this is the color the whole car will be).
We've got a little modifying left, I'm gonna cut out the center section and make a air dam for the future intercooler...
Also, here is my seat recovered in imitation leather - I'll be dropping the guts of the rest of the interior off today to get re-covered.

My paint guy finished up the grille, wing, and the sideview mirrors. He plans on having the car completed by this Sunday. Sorry for the bad quality, but I got up there and realized I'd left my SD card at home so I had to use my cell phone.
Here's the latest pics...

More Pics from today!!!

In the meantime, I powdercoated my valve cover - not too bad for my first powder coating job - wasn't perfect, but good enough.

Nice job, it looks good. Though, I personally would have went with the same blue as the car probably. Still looks nice
Can't wait to see the car painted.

Windshield installed, bumper installed, and side windows installed.

We also got the new door handles and some window trim as well as the door locks and sideview mirror installed, but it was too dark to take a pic by that point. Hopefully tomorrow he will finish painting the hood and trunk/rear bumper and I'll install the door rubber and ground effects.

I brought the car home, but I need to order the window rubber/felt (the old ones look crappy and a lense for the spoiler brake light. We got the hood on, the trunk, and the rear bumper last nite.
Today, I installed the new carpet and one of the seats - my god go OEM, if you ever replace carpet! It's coming together, but I have to get my power windows adjusted before I can put the door panels on. Soon as I can get some time I'm gonna have my new exhaust put on also.
PICS!

For the money you have invested in buying that new Sentra, you could build two b13's like this...I might have close to 4.5k in mine including what I paid for it.
ABNRML4U,
It's azure blue, from the new altima coupe.

How did you attach the sides? I have a '91 and am looking at same set, does not jump out at me how that's going to work.
Thanks!
