Post Title: Thule 695 Xpedition W/ Fairing mounted on Rogue.

Here are some pics of a simple modification to add a thule fairing to an Xpedition cargo basket. Everything fits perfectly. Fairing sits about an inch in front of moonroof so it also serves as a wind deflector.

P.S. Hope the pics load properly.

Great photos and info. The Mount looks great! I noticed your roof rack, it's one I have seen on ebay. I am thinking of purchasing one and wanted to know how you like it. It's not Thule or Yakima but I like the price and the look... Any feedback would be helpful. Many Thanks... The Rogue looks great!

The rack is great. I've had no problems at all with it. I think it looks better than the M.O.A.B. by Thule. Very simple install. I am in the process of filling the gap between the bottom of the rack and the top of the fairing. I will post some pics when done.

Hey I just got the same base rack as you and unloaded it makes a crazy "wooooooo" sound at highspeeds. I can't believe how loud it is, but I'm hoping that once I mount a roof box on it the noise will pretty much disappear. Do you notice any noise from your set up?

Also, how is your rack holding up against moisture? The lock cores seem kinda cheap and I'm wondering if it's smart to leave this rack on my Rogue all the time, or possibly I'll keep it off except for when I actually need it, to avoid corrosion. Thanks.

I would invest in a fairing also with the cargo box. I have no noise problems at all. Without the fairing I get the same noise you mentioned.

As far as locks go I'm able to keep my rogue garage kept so weather isn't as much of an issue. Good luck with things.

I too picked up the same base rack system. Yes it's very noisy at highway speed and not sure how well it will hold up, but at 1/3 the price of Thule you can't go wrong. Anyway I ordered the Fairing and will post a follow up once I mount it...
