I wish I would have taken pics of the construction process, but if you are interested, there is a lot of info at

I would love to build a nice poker table this Winter. Keep us posted if you decide to build one!

As far as cost goes, my table was very inexpensive to build...the most expensive part was the chips themselves. I already had a set of chips, but I wanted to get a set with the denominations on them and have more of a variety. Anyway, to answer your question:
4' x 9' Quality red fabric - $12
4' x 9' Fake leather - $9
Two 4' x 8' Plywood - $12
3' x 6' carpet padding - $3
Cup holders - $2.99 each
Tray for the dealer chips - $19
8 deck shoe - $18
Discard holder - $5
6 Luxor Casino decks - $1 each
Acrylic paint - $4
Locking Cash box mounted on bottom - $35
Acrylic Cash paddle - $6
Chrome cash paddle slot - $4
A crap-load of staples and a staple gun.
And the table base was pre-existing from an old dinette table I had.
Overall, I would say around $200 or so. I would like to add more graphics to the fabric, but the table overall is a little less than 6' x 3' (inside the rails) so it might get too busy...I kind of like just the simple look right now.
Thanks again for looking!
