Post Title: My neighbor has the nicest 'vert I've ever seen in person!
Posted by: Eikon at 11:51 AM 5/15/2008

For the last year or so I've seen this car at a house down the street from me. It's the cleanest, prettiest 240sx 'vert I've ever seen.

So I'm always trying to find an excuse to stop over and say "HI!" to whoever owns it and get a closer look at the car.

Finally today I was driving by and saw two guys outside working on another car. So I snagged my camera and dropped by.

Here's the car..

Don't mind the Pepsi bottle

Don't mind the for sale sign on the trunk...

No cracks in the dash, the door panels are still in one piece, and the interior is very clean.

85,000 original miles.

He's got the boot cover as well.

The seats are from a Celica GTS. They look like they sit a bit too high, but not bad.

Engine bay is pretty clean. It's got a sticker for A/C conversion from R12 to R134.

It makes me sad, but he is actually trying to sell the car. He says he needs a winter car. He's hoping for $6k for it. I'd say it's very well worth it. If anyone wants to get in touch with him, email me and I can stop back down there and get an email addy or phone number. Helping him sell it is not my goal however... I just wanted to show off this spectacular clean 'vert.

Nice vert, the seats work oookkk w/ the car - looks like celica seats?

As nice as the paint is, iono what he is smoking that he thinks the car is worth $6k, haha.

$6k wow thats way too much bro. I just bought a vert thats almost identical to that, the only diff being the missing boot and my slightly mangled interior with less miles for $3200. I would let him know that its nice but some rims and celica seats do not add up to $3k price difference.

Guessing its a '92 since it had the R134 conversion?

It is very nice, but if he gets 6k I should sell mine for like 8k or something rediculous.

Just thought, guess I lowered the value by cutting into the interior panels for the tweeters. Granted, God willing, I will never sell it.

If you get 8k, I'm selling mine for 11k or so. Ha!

Many of the '93s had R12, too.

Clean, but more like a $4k vert. And it's missing the 1990's Limited Edition stripe that everyone seems to love.

Do not mean to hijack the thread..but celica seats fit on verts? I really need new seats.

I don't think $6k is out of the question for this car. You guys sure seem to think so.

It's the rarest color, it's got a perfect top and window (which weren't pictured), it's got under 90k miles, it's got a boot cover with it, it's got nice wheels, clean interior and door panels, and some nice seats and working A/C.

Besides, you never really get what you ask for a car right.. so you might as well start high and see what happens.

Anyhow... again, this is not meant to be a for sale thread. just thought I'd show off a very nice car.

^^ The only problem is, the average person buying the car does not know this, nor do they care 99% of the time.

But none the less, shes clean!
