their price is $230..but that's with installation. but I couldn't imagine install is that hard?
Are you able to point me to a good installer or atleast a install guide if I buy this from you? because..$129 shipped sounds better then $230 installed+tax blah blah blah..

Shoot me an email and i'll send paypal your way.
Btw, thanks again for the CD deck. Sorry i never got back to you about the Concept HUD.. but i kinda went all out on a turbo setup

I wouldn't know a good installer out in Cali, but any good reputable shop would be good. It is pretty straight forward and does come with a complete installation manual. The only extra part you would need is a relay for the door locks. I would throw that in of course. You could also feel free to call me or email me for tech support!
Just let me know!
Also, on a side note..... that $230 is with basic install. Bestbuy will bag you on the door locks. Since they have to wire up one extra relay, it will probably be an extra $50.

| Are you adding OEM actuators or after market actuators? If you are adding after market then you will need 2 relays. Like I said, I will throw those in with the purchase. Thanks, Toby |
my car doesn't have power lock
but the previous owner attempted to put an unknown keyless entry in the car. so i do have unused door actuators..but those been sitting there for god knows how long. i am going to be adding the after market one with gree/blue wires.
thanks, you'll have your payment of $129 via paypal very soon.

The shock sensor is built into the main unit. It is a little black protruding dial on the side.

O.k, I would recommend headrests from Vizualogic. I have found them to be the best quality and screen resolution. Comes with two RF headphones and the main module has multiple inputs for auxiliary sources. A dual DVD setup retails for $2799, your Nico price is $1799 shipped. The single DVD setup retails for $2499, and the Nico price is $1649 shipped.

I have a base model 1993 with 0 power options, my door locks on either side only work when they are manually actuated. And I'm looking into a basic alarm system that if possible has key-less entry.. and what parts (relays, actuators, etc) I would need?

The 791XV is a discontinued model. It was replaced with the 5900, which has better range. The 5900 would run you $279 shipped. I can throw in 2 DEI door actuators and the relay pack for $20 extra. So $299 shipped for everything

Are you just looking to purchase the subs? I would probably recommend building your own box or buying one locally, because shipping would be fairly expensive. Do you also need an amplifier to push the subs? How much bass are you hoping to get and what type of budget are you looking at? Just let me know and I will come up with a nice little quote!
Thanks,

A nice little sub woofer package would include a Alpine MRP-M500 mono-block 500 watt RMS amplifier. Then 2 10" JL Audio 10w1v2 sub woofers. I can do all of this for $360 shipped. Pretty good price for some nice equipment and a good amount of power. If you buy an alarm system and the audio stuff I'll throw in the amplifier wiring kit for free!

Thanks. Oh, it's agarciadealba86@yahoo.com
1) No need to add the 30A fuse since it's already there, right?
2) Just to be clear, the turbo timer ignition output wire will be cut on the harness, that I used for the sake of not cutting into any of the cars wires, and rewired to the relay at terminal number 30 and 87a (87 & 87a is the same lead, right?)
3) I will be "tapping" into the IGNITION WIRE FROM KEY and not rewiring it to the relay, right?
4) I will also be "tapping: into IGN. WIRE TO COIL, right?
Thanks for the help.

2)You are correct kind of, however, 87 and 87a are not the same. Basically, you will cut the IGN wire on your vehicle and run the key side to 87a and the other side to 30. If you extend these they need to be of the 14 gauge or bigger. Also, the IGN. source for your alarm(yellow) will also need to be tapped into the key side of the relay. This is very important as this is why this relay works..... because of where you tap the yellow Viper wire. You may be able to cut the IGN wire on your plug-and-play turbo timer harness for 30 and 87a, but it depends on where the IGN output lead from the turbo timer taps into the plug-and-play harness. If any questions, call me!!!!!
3)You will need a diode between 87a and 86. You can simply make a 4" jumper with the diode in it.
So for example: on pin 87a, I would usually have my 4" jumper wire with diode, IGN wire from key and yellow wire from the alarm all twisted together in one big female spade. So you would have 3 wires twisted together. Likewise, on pin 86, I would twist the other end of the 4" jumper and the IGN output from the turbo timer together. Note: the turbo timer IGN output will only be ran to 86 on the relay. You will no longer have the IGN output of the turbo timer connected to the IGN of the vehicle.
Please call me if you are unsure of this. My # is in my sig. If I don't answer please leave a brief message and I will usually get back to you within minutes.
Good luck!
Toby

I tried it again with me in the drivers seat and clutch disengaged and turn it to ON and it the motor cranked but wouldn't start until I turned the key to start. It started but for the first time it started "weakly". Unlike before where it would start all the way to 2k RPM's then drop to 1.5k and then idle at 1k after about 1 min and a half. Looked back at my work and I didn't reroute the turbo timer's ignition wire, I simply tapped into the turbo timer's ignition wire. Would that make it start on ON?

. Now it activates when the timer is on OR off, which is exactly what I wanted. BUT... when the timer is counting down and I activate the alarm, it shuts off the car, which is what I didn't want. I checked the diode while it was still in the circuit with the multimeter in the diode position and it measured 163 going both ways. I unplugged the diode along with the wires that are attached to it and with the black lead on the cathode it gave me 679, reversed the leads and it was open. So the diode is good, right? Why does it shut off the car?
Let me know what you find.
Toby
Edit: As a test you can also cut the orange wire that comes out of the main harness on the alarm. That wire is ground while armed, which triggers the starter kill relay. If you cut it then the relay won't activate. So after you cut the wire go through the whole process of letting the turbo timer activate and arm the car up. If it stays running when you arm the alarm then you know the relay is probably wired incorrectly.

Now the black/yellow starter wire you will cut in half. The side that comes from the key cylinder will wire into the heavy gauge green wire from the starter kill relay. The other half of the black/yellow wire(starter side) will wire into the heavy gauge black wire from the starter kill relay.
Done!

. It didn't disarm with the remote, only when I take the negative terminal back off. What could be wrong now

Or you can probably just turn the shock sensor down a tad bit. It sounds like it's set too high anyway if it's going off while your car is running. It should only go off it the car receives a decent impact to the glass.
Or there is one other thing we can try, but it will involve some wire testing on your part. So let me know if you want to try it. I would suggest trying to turn the shock sensor down a little first.

| Well, it can't be done from a setting, but there is a nice little work around for it. All that is needed is a relay and your install shop really should of been able to figure this out...... if not they shouldn't be installing. Print this out and tell them to do it! http://www.directechs.com/Docs/TechTips/1503.pdf

Why didn't you just tell him how to change the setting?

Is there a remote start system that I can install along with my 350HV that will allow me to use my current 350HV remote to start it?

There is, but your range would be limited to the Viper 350HV remote..... which isn't very good. If you are only wanting to start it from less than 100 feet away then you would probably be fine.

NO? But I programmed my 350 to arm while started?
Must have been talking about something different, never mind must have meant something else, just ignore my ignorance on the matter.

Well that being the case, I could get a better remote and learn it to my 350 right?
Would the remote start module come with a useful remote for this?

The system controls the range, so a longer range remote won't even program to the system.
The add-on remote start does not come with remotes at all..... hence why you would use your 350 remotes. If you really want remote start I would recommend getting a whole new system with remote start/alarm. I sell them really cheap, so it might be something to think about. By the time you buy the add-on system and then couple that with the poor range, you would be better off with a new one. A Viper 5601 or Viper 5701 would be nice choices.

Well I guess you could email me the cost for all three items, keeping in mind this is for a 2003 civic, so I will need the ignition bypass module. I can use my valet key for that correct?
My email is jimmy77@comcast.net, thanks.
