Just picked up my 08 and it's a great ride. I'm sure you can get more aftermarket parts for other suv's, but stock for stock I don't see what else you could get. Power, class, the audio system with all the bells and whistles is a great look- hard drive is a nice touch, you can actually record from cd's while you drive. ipod connect, flash drive and free xm for 3 years. Interior is roomy, seats are easy to put down and the power seats in the 3rd row are a nice touch. plus the 20's are a great touch and the spare is also a full size chrome 20. I need to take a class to figure everthing out. Voice recogination I can't wait to program that. I'm sure there are other great suv's out there , but I can't see how you can get more stuff with out paying another 10k at least.

I've had my 22's for 3 years now. I guess it depends on the wheel but these are the right size for me...

Sorry for the indoor shots, we're getting the rain/sleet crap all day here. The QX looks pretty big next to the hibernating toys - some day I'll have to see if the AutoLifters hoist has the grunt to lift the big beast. :lol:

Some of the earlier QX56's had the wood on the steering wheel, the newer ones DO NOT.

The '08 doesn't have the wood trim b/c the steering wheel is also heated. Man, that would probably wreck the wood trim on the wheel!

I've only done a lil stuff so far, just rims, lighting and sounds.
All interior/exterior lights have been changed out with "hyper white" LED's.
I put 22" Verde "50" rims with Lexani rubber.
I also put a V12 Alpine 1000 watt amp with a 12" Pioneer Premier sub in da back (I know JL is da best...jus tryin it out). Sounds great!!
Here are a few pix...more to come.....eventually...haha!!
