Post Title: Re: (Mr. Plow) Posted by:offroadbob at 1:05 PM 9/10/2007
Here is an older pic of my truck. I'm the goofy looking guy in the front kneeling its a the best looking truck nissan has ever made. ( i guess i am a bit biased) 1984 720
Post Title: Re: (offroadbob) Posted by:houdini at 5:26 PM 9/10/2007 yea, love the 720's! nice shot!
Post Title: Re: (houdini) Posted by:offroadbob at 1:50 PM 9/11/2007 Thanks, I wish she looked the same now. the Tucson sun and rain has done a number on her. Not to mention the front sus is designed really dumb especially w/ all the lift.

Post Title: Re: Nissan TRUCK pics (hessianben) Posted by:irsa76 at 2:54 AM 10/6/2007 My 720 KC, with HD steel flat bed.
Post Title: Re: Nissan TRUCK pics Posted by:ketshy at 6:23 PM 10/21/2007 Well I guess I might as well throw mine in here, even if a bit after the last post. What can I say I just joined. My '82 720 as it sits right now, though not for long.
And heres my power house of an engine, my half dead Z20
Post Title: Posted by:Dano at 9:10 AM 10/23/2007
Ketshy, your truck is awesome! Give us some more details about it!
Post Title: Re: (Dano) Posted by:Desert Rat at 10:04 AM 10/23/2007 Very clean 720 there.
Post Title: Posted by:ketshy at 2:41 PM 10/26/2007 Well it's pretty much a stock 720 with 3" body lift and 29" Thornbirds. It's currently running a Z20, low compression in two cylinders and some carb issues but hey, it works. Though I just noticed the other day I've got a bit of a knock... I did all of the body work myself, installed a sunroof and painted it mack red. I'm in the process of swapping a solid axle under there, the plan is to up tire size 4 to 6 inches with as little lift as possible. Engine wise it's getting a rebuilt Z24 with a Z22 head, a cam and possibly fuel injection. A Thorley header and 2" pipe all the way back will finish off the exhaust. It's my current money pit, though I've been making slow progress as I ran out of money and time.
Oh, heres some engine pictures:

Man your truck is so badass!!!
Post Title: Re: Nissan TRUCK pics (jEzTeR) Posted by:curleyben at 8:30 AM 11/22/2007 This is after a sweet paint job (rattlecan), calmini's 3" lift, winch, and a front bumper.
I destroyed the front suspension that day and decided to sas it...
Got tired of the standard cab and put an extended cab on
Then I ran my fenders into rocks and trees and decided to loose those.

Post Title: Re: (Reverend D) Posted by:white90esex at 10:00 PM 6/11/2008 Damn thats allota tire on that 2wd.
You should throw some escalade wheels on that thing... it would be sick!

i don't mind the escalade rims but they're kind of played out, i've seen a bunch or hardbodies w/ caddy rims. I agree though the tires are pretty big, the truck used to be lifted but now that it's low some smaller tires are on the way.
Post Title: Re: (Nismopup) Posted by:white90esex at 7:14 PM 6/20/2008
thats crazy i never seen one with escalade wheels before. I allways thought those would look good or some factory 18" titan or armada wheels. It would be pretty sick.

I have seen a few p/up's w/ escalade wheels or car domain and stuf, buti do really like the armada an titan wheels they look good on low pro's. But i have like no money so i don't think thats an option, right now i am trying to save up n but a skyline next year.

great pics everyone. i've never visited the truck forum before. you guys have some unique stuff! you don't see that around here (montgomery, al); just a bunch of redneck crap.
Post Title: Re: (JDMZ32) Posted by:xmetrix at 4:04 PM 7/3/2008 95 Hardbody, 195,000 original miles. 100% original everything except for normal tuneup parts. Second Clutch, 4th set of tires. Never had a single problem with it, always passed CA Smog with flying colors. Looking to do some bolt on mods to squeeze a little more performance out of this aging work horse.

I dunno anything about the nissan truck family, but my grandma has the same type of truck as the one pictured (seriously, i mean no offense), except it's bone stock with the black plastic front grille. It's a 1986 kingcab XE baby blue with original 58k miles. I'll get it in a few, years/months, until then i have two 240's to mess with. no pics yet sorry
Post Title: Re: Official NICO TRUCK pic Thread (jEzTeR) Posted by:ReKleineR at 1:57 PM 8/14/2008 Here is a not so sweet 3 month old 2008 Nissan Frontier...
Me and my boss got clipped on the side drivin up 91 North by Springfield Ma. It merges from 3 lanes to 2 and some old guy was stayin in the slow lane and when he realized there was no more lane he cut over into the next lane and caught the front of an 18-wheeler sending him straight accross to the fast lane in which we were in, clipping our side slamming us into the guard rail in the median, and bouncing off and sliding 150 or so feet head-on into the guard rail on the other side of the highway, flipping in a cork-screw type way landing on my side of the truck.
I thank the Lord I'm still alive, cause I was not wearing a seatbelt and I did not get hurt one bit. The truck took a beatin though. We found the tailgate and most of the tools that were in the bed about 50-100 ft in the woods.

Where did you get those headlights nismopup. Are they H4 or some other type of bulb. If they are H4 how did you get them to work. Also does the projector look good when on.
Thanks.

This is my first nissan ever.I've always been a fan of nissan trucks. if you've ever seen hands on a hard body you get my drift. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzj-vb7Lj0A So my old truck just got too much to gas up every 2 or 3 days. had to get something better. and here it is. The only Mods i have are dress up, I'm looking for maybe a drop kit and maybe a cold air intake later?? thats all down the road. Its an '02 KA24DE 2wd
Post Title: Re: (mrecoolgar) Posted by:milehighhero at 7:17 PM 9/30/2008 how are those pathfinder seats? are they hard to but in? they look like they dont lean back much... how does the comfortability compare to the bench seat?

Post Title: Re: (sufferingant) Posted by:jc0526 at 12:04 AM 11/21/2008 Got bored so I did this........
Take one lifted 94 Nissan hardbody on 38.5 TSLs and add one 95 300zxTT (52k_miles), two toyota axles and a small block chevy, what do you get??
Z_RUCK
Frame is way too long. Its a 94 Nissan extended cab. I will cut about 20" out of it later to get the rear axle in the right spot.
Its obviously not finished!!!

Post Title: Posted by:Reverend D at 5:19 PM 2/17/2009 What size did you put on those 15's? I don't blame you for tossing the 14's let alone the WWs.

Post Title: Re: Official NICO TRUCK pic Thread Posted by:madk0w at 7:45 PM 2/23/2009 Hey whats up. I have always loved the look of the D-21 Hardbody. For the longest time I've wanted to get one and drop a SR20DET in it.
Here are some pics of my buddy's 1990?. Its got something like 400,000 miles on the original engine. The odo stopped working around 275k about 6 years ago. Too bad the frame is rotted so its been retired But it was one badass truck that got the s*** beat out of it daily :
Its got a custom rattle can paint job, he shaved the corner lights and grafted a Toyota bumper on the front.
Its lowered with i think a bell-tech suspension on 17" Titian wheels bored out to fit and painted white on one side and black on the other.
He painted the interior black with white trim and custom vents
It has a killer sound system for a truck. Thats a flip out DVD head unit where the center vent used to be
Post Title: Re: Official NICO TRUCK pic Thread (madk0w) Posted by:SHIFT_THIS at 6:14 PM 2/26/2009
I've been looking for a cheap way to blackout my lights. So I got ahold of some VHT night shade. As for the headlights I left opening for light but I dont know if i like it? Then my friend has a grand prix. I liked the red gauges so I tried to make my own. Looks awesome at night cant see anything during the day Took some red tint and put it on the cover orver the gauges. Tax season is here so I wanna throw on some black wheels or maybe these?? But I have some chrome and I dont think it will look good...
Post Title: Re: nice photo graphs (ash16847) Posted by:Nissan_Boy85 at 9:13 PM 2/26/2009 Worse then you might think. Get's about 20 MPG freeway, give or take a couple. Then again, I'm into it pretty hard getting on the freeway.

Post Title: Re: Nissan TRUCK pics (kibatheloanwolf) Posted by:LittleLoc at 2:38 PM 6/4/2009 Well, here's my beloved 1996 Hardbody XE. It was a gift from a friend, though I've put more than it's worth back into it
It's a bit dusty, and has a snarl in the front bumper from the previous owner. Otherwise, at 165,000 miles, it runs great and has made several cross-country trips in one piece (more or less). Now, if only I could get the driver side speaker to work, and get the passenger-side mirror replaced...
(The Bentley of Denver plate is an inside joke of sorts)
Glad to have found this forum! :D

Sorry for the crappy phone pics, but I've never posted pics of my truck on this board.
Here's what I got: It's an 86.5 V6, 4x4 reg cab. Looks to be stock 2-tone. Can anyone confirm this paint combo was available from factory?

Well I am convinced I have seen the biggest D21 ever made.
It rides on 48" tires and has a blown Big-Block in the rear.. Wild machine for just playing around the Canadian Rockies with. 2 guys built it over the winter and just finished it last month. This image was it's maiden run at a semi-pro 4x4 event.

Post Title: Hardbody Performance Posted by:Asuncion at 5:18 PM 9/21/2009 Nice Trucks to all. I have been looking for a week and not sure where to get answers in here for a 97 Hardbody 2.4L. I just bought some 18" Titan wheels and looking for a place to center bore them for a good price.
Can someone direct me in the right place to get answers for upgrading to Weapon R cold air intake ($300), Pacesetter Headers ($200), Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat ($150), MSD coil ($200), and possible 5-8psi turbo setup w/ custom header ($1000)???
Is it worth it because I cannot afford a $6000-$9000 SR20DET swap when all is said and done? If I could, then I would have bought a used Ford Lightning.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

i promise the answer to all of this is in here somewhere... there is possibility that you won't find anything on the intake because i don't know of anyone who is running the weapon one... and a custom header is called custom because it is just that... you won't find one unless someone is ridding of theirs... you'll nedd to make or have one made
as far a a ford lightning... yeah it may end up being the same price in the end but your truck would prolly beat it and it'd more awesome because you are the one who built it

Took out the center lights for force induction, so my Mikuni's carbs can breath more air. As for the 2 lights missing I just use the outer lights as low and high beam instead of having 4 lights.

Thanks! Yours looks good to... When I bought the truck for $100 it didn't have A/C so I decided to go with drag racing. My dash was cracked badly so went with the aluminum look.

Post Title: Re: Some Pics of my truck. (kibatheloanwolf) Posted by:seang at 4:13 PM 9/26/2009 After a night of lake effect snow, Dec. 2008 If you look close you can notice my bent up front bumper which came after my dear old Dad drove it into a wall. I have since straightened it out for the most part. The drivers side fender was hit, too, and I have only been able to ball park it on bringing it true, but it's better than it was. Lastly, the grey duct tape holding the drivers side marker light on has since been replaced with black duct tape. [IMG][/IMG]

rgillett --> Your truck had the same color scheme as mine. Aside from random google searches and one lone 2-door pathy at the local junkyard, I haven't seen another silver/burgundy combo like that in years. I'm liking the tailpipes through the rollpan.
