Easy and foolproof coil test.
1. Remove cover plates that are over coils.
2. While car is running, disconnect then replace the plug going to each coil, one at a time.
3.When you disconnect the plug, and the engine starts running poorer, that coil is good. When you disconnect the plug, and there is no change at all, that is your bad coil.
