Yep it's stock. Haven't dropped it at all. I've only replace the stereo, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, and passenger side mirror (2 times) I'm gonna wait till college to start on my vert...right now i'm just doing research.

just relocated the front license plate to the air dam and painted those lil bumper grills black couple mins ago (i'd be more than happy to make a write-up on an secure way to mount ur license plate in the air dam if someone wanted one)

I think maybe you overlooked the fact that the chuki started in 91, the same time that they started putting in the dohc motor.

and, the bumper is better too.

Thats not true...Garbage..ive ripped on plenty of twincams before...neither are actually a "Fast" car. At their age what matters most is which car was better taken care of in its life. And as for the better looking thing thats purely opinion..
But i just cant see any chuki looking better than a pignose with a lip...

I whooped the **** out of a 5-speed piggy in my stock AUTOMATIC 93 on the highway, and it wasnt just top speed, it was at multiple speeds, and he just couldnt keep up...
we were both black stock-bodied basemodel fast backs, and mine was not only faster, it sounded better, and it looked better..

Wasn't mine you raced. It was probably a poorly-maintained example of an early 240 with a clogged cat. You wouldn't have beaten me with an automatic until my speed limiter kicked in. Mine is stock except for the cat and BRM exhaust, so it damn sure woulnd't have sounded better.

Dude get the hell out of here with that crap....You must have raced a car with almost no compression.....There is no way an automatic 240 will beat a 5 speed anything...especially not a 5 speed 240...Single cam or twin makes almost no goddam difference at their age..

it's cool, i have a stock 89 5-speed Supra now, no stock/slightly modded piggy (or chuki for that matter) can keep up...

I'm considering those, or maybe either the MR or MR Track coilovers (I know the Track's are super stiff, but I like the color, haha). I have to wait first though, until I move for school and get a part time job, it'll take me a while to save up for them.

I have Tein Flexes. I just got them corner balanced at my friends school too. I love them. I might just drop it another 1/4 inch to get the tire to almost tuck all around.

not funny at all. Fortunately, i got a full AMS advnaced rebuild going into my freshly rebuilt KA and will be able to go KA_T @ 400whp in my ugly mug by next spring.
rock the uglies! I think the fact that it's a Chuki is the reason its still pretty sexy.

I love them. The girlies don't complain when it's on the soft settings. So far almost one year and theyre holding up great.

a couple of saturdays ago vancouver240 went for a night time cruise and some people called us in. we were not doing anything stupid and we were not even speeding! none the less the cop passes us on a 2 lane road and gets air going over a dip in the road. he pulls all 12 of us over and detains us for 45 mins. he then says he is going easy on us and giving us tickets for "driving without due consideration". canadian law don't ask.
so when he pulls us over we find out that the police chopper is right above us!!! he puts his spotlight on us. it was quite the scene
so onto the funny part, Revscene.net had a meet on sunday and guess who is there?? THE POLICE CHOPPER!!! with the same pilots!!! i talked to the guy and he remembers us!! i couldn't stop laughing. the area was blocked off but since i had a special interest i got a pic with the chopper, hehe

And here's a completely off topic question. Did the 240's come with the wheel well plastic in the rear? Because there are holes in the quarter panels as if for bolts for it, but mine didn't come with it, so I was thinking that maybe the previous owner took it out, I'm just curious.

Looks so much better with the gold rims IMO. Personally, I think the silver and black looks cleaner. I don't think
red and gold look good together - but it's just my personal

Chuki means middle period. Chukis would be the 91-94 models of the S13. If it's got the shark nose, it's a chuki.
Zenki means preceding period. The 89-90 pignoses are the Zenki S13's.
Kouki means latter period. That would be the last S14's...made in 97-98.
The Zenki (before Kouki) S14's are from 96-97.

This gave the car an overhaul that included mostly minor body modifications and an upgrade to the engine. The Zenki front bumper was replaced by a smoother, more modern-looking bumper, and a new (LE) hatchback trim package was added that included leather interior. The SOHC KA24E was replaced by a new DOHC KA24DE with 4 valves per cylinder that produced 15 more hp, for a total output of 155 hp (116 kW). An optional sports package including a limited slip differential and Nissan's HICAS four wheel steering was added to the fastback. In 1992, a convertible body style was added to the lineup. It was exclusive to North America and was partially assembled in Japan, with final assembly taking place in the California facilities of American Specialty Cars (ASC). For the 1994 model year, the only available car was a Special Edition of the Convertible body style with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The S13 was known for its sharp steering/handling (thanks to front MacPherson struts and a rear multilink suspension) and relatively light weight (2600 lb) but was regarded in the automotive press as being underpowered. The Nissan KA24E engine, while durable, was a heavy, iron-block unit that produced meager power for its size, with only slight improvement when upgraded to the DOHC version. This engine is the main difference between North America's 240SX and world-market Silvia/180SX. Also, pignose fail. |

Cut what? Yea main reason I was asking because within the year I am going Ka-T and will have the FMIC so I was just wondering about placement and such. Also another reason I kept am sticking with the Chuki, I want to go Sleeper and the Chuki Hides the FMIC very well!! (Btw I editted my post above with a few questions, check it out please)

i think the average owner goes with what they get when they purchase their first 240. i currently have a pignose ( 4 years) bumper and i like it because i get extra air with my nose mod.

FINALLY!! picked up my chuki about a month ago. traded my 95 EG hatch for it. CA18DET. lsd. blocked hicas. flat black for now. gonna go 2 tone pearl 300zx white with black roof. man i love the chuki. pignose is just that...a pigs nose.

Sometimes I feel like im the only one that thinks they are ugly..they dont resemble anything like a sports car. they kinda remind me of a 2 door accord or a mx6 but less sporty. I just really dont like them. Id take a piggy over an s14 any day.

There supposed to be the same as the JDM 180sx but from what I've seen and been told the 180's don't pop up for the center cap. And mine have a polished outer ring. I think mine are from an infinity Q something or other. I hope it aids you in your search so you don't end up paying "zomg supper kewl JDM" ebay prices.

I just looked it up mine are G20's there the same style but the difference is the center caps, the G20's bump out but the Nissan's don't. not a big difference. I like mine the way they are lol.

I'm definately grabbing a set of 180sx oem sides soon, and I am still debating whether to go with coilovers and roll my fenders for looks, or keep the AMAZING Koni/ Megan setup that I have now. I could live with the small, ugly wheel gap knowing how nice my car handles, lol.

Ya, sentra wheels look pretty good. They just need some spacers to clean it up a bit. I think they look pretty tight and factory especially with suspension work being done on the car. I really just need to get teh car painted and the exhaust finished and it will have that clean not to flashy look.

Josh from York, Pa. Car is a 92, picked it up for $500, its sitting on K-Sports, the engine has a rod thrown (2nd one back from front, dont know the "orders" of the chambers on these cars, as if it goes from front to back).
Got another engine the other weekend, broke a head bolt in putting a gasket on, and another holes threads started ripping (I could hear it). Im confused as to why, I did the torqueing in steps, 25 to 60, then loosened all the way and then 50 and final 80 and thats when stuff started going wrong... I have ARP studs on the way and when they arrive, Im heading out to get helicoil inserts to fix my screw ups. It came across to me that possibly my torque wrench is screwed up? Is the threads ripping out common? What should I torque it down to?
Anyhow, the pics.
76k KA24de and unknown milage MTX trans in the middle of getting cleaned up. Already pressurewashed and painting has begun.

Already did! Also painted. I glass beaded the manifold also and put that high temp paint on it but I hear it sometimes bakes off and doesnt last long, I decided it has to look better than rust...
ARP head studs arrived, waiting on a new head gasket. Then i need to drill out at least 2 of the holes in the block and helicoil them since 1 bolt snapped in one and threads were popping in another.
I also got a F1 Sage 2 clutch and racing flywheel (off e-bay). Decided to give them a try, if it doesnt last long I can always upgrade. Just need them to last at least 7 months.

Dude I have been asking for help in other forums like the past few weeks, my car went from spark plugs bad to injectors and now im without a running chuki waiting for injectors.
the only picture I had included his car also, and im just being nice defending his pig because hes my buddy.
Were changing his brake booster today along with brake pads whenever he shows up to my house and starts pullin his pig apart.
but yeah those fogs aint even hooked up, His girlfriend told me once his car looks like goofy with the fogs in the front.

This is from 3 years ago and it hasn't really changed much. It's a black and white picture with really sloppy water coloring. Also my headlights aren't yellow, it looked lacking with "clear" water color.

'93 coupe, bought off of this board. Brought it home, this thing was FILTHY (like it hadn't been washed......ever.....), and as you can see, there were a lot of scuffs on it too, but a clay bar took care of a lot of that. Interior is clean, no cracks in dash, no tears in the seats, but the carpet is probably going to need replacing (hole in carpet on drivers side, some stains all over the carpet, things like that ), but overall very clean. A few dings and some scuffs, but I like it!
Oh and I'll never buy another car with stickers all over the windows, because those damn things were the worst to get off!

Soon I will join the darkside though as I want my car to look like this when its done except not falling apart but the idea is there.
So far I have the ZG flares and the 002 wheels I'm still searching for the Zenki(yes Zenki)front bumper and lip.

Dropped on AGX's w/ S-techs. 
Zenki's mine too... 
The drop and the wheels are fail, though.
Once I get coilovers I'l put on my Kosei K1's. They aren't flashy, but I can't find anything worthwhile to exchange them for...

its actually pretty easy. take off your chuki lip and then put the pignose lip where the chuki lip was. install the ends by the fender and screw it in there. afterwards just use a self tapping screw to screw the rest of the lip. you can put as many as you want. i put at least 15 screws

Hard to generalize a whole group of women. I would say some japanese girls like black dudes. Actually your will rarely see a really pretty one with a foreigner. They seem to prefer guys that are at least mixed with Japanese but not pure Japanese. LIke 1/2 white 1/2 Japanese.

well last time i was just lowerd, i now added cusco rear controll arms, 6k HIDs H4 headlight conversion, and the pig nose lip. hope you like it.... oh and i guess the picture doesnt say much because its taken from so far away and zoomed in, but the car is seriously half the width of an ipod from the ground in the front, and i hardly scrape hahaha 9 set on dampening FTW

It's all stock except for fog lights, Pioneer hu and a Pioneer cd changer.
And some temporary bodywork. I think it looks pretty cool like that.
