05 QX56 A/C Air Conditioning Vent Issue Splits between floor and Dash

I have an 05 QX56 and when I select the A/C to blow out of the dash (normal) vents, it no matter what splits some of the air to the floor vents as well. I just had an 04 Armada so I know that this is not normal. Is this common, and does anyone know where the flapper door is located that controls the distribution of air from the dash to floor vents? Thanks for your help, this thing is great. Frank Kuperman
