? instrument cluster lights dont work. (dash lights dimmer tcu )

hello people i really hate to post this again. i have been researching everywhere and ive found alot of information but i still cant fix my lights on the instrument cluster.

fuses= okbulbs= okdimmer= replaced twice.Tcu= replaced twice.tach= looks ok (not burned or anthing)

everything ive read ive tried and still no lights. im confused on one part dough. ive read about the red with yellow stripe cables in the readio harness. that need to be grounded to bypass the dimmer.but ive read not to ground it and to tape everything off. i dont know what to do.

i dont have a voltohmeter , but im gona borrow one and check every wire with my fsm.

anyone has fixed this problem any other way?"bdway every other light in the car works. including tailights.

wow this just happened to me also. I was trying to find out why my rear wiper isn't working and i touched the power probe to one of the connections and i think i popped something. All the fuses look ok. I'm running out of ideas.

Welp. I fixed mine, it turned out to be my TCM. You might wanna try the rear wiper amp. Your prolly saying "that has nothing to do with my cluster". Well when i was working on trying to get my rear wiper to work, I had my power probe on the wires checking them for power and also to see if it would at least power the wiper motor by applying power to the wires. Well it sparked and blew the TCM. That would be my guess. Good luck!

Thought it was TCM... checked my fuses carefully.. and found one that was blown but hardly noticeable.. easy fix!! whew.
