Can someone help me out? Anyone from the Toronto area who knows a shop that can stop the engine knocking noise? And as for gas mileage im getting 12-13.5L/100km. Any idea what the problem may be? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

are you using super like recomended? If not switch ASAP dont cheap out its good for the engine and will reduce/eliminate knock also run a can of techtron through the tank to help remove the carbon build up in the engine and should help with your mpg. Also use synthetic oil to futher help the engine and mpg.

There should be no knock even if running regular unless something else is wrong.

Is the car showing a CEL? Any codes showing?

I have to say that's some impressive mileage. So if google has not failed me you are running roughly 18mpgs, what were you getting and when did you notice the l/km going down?

Have you replaced your plugs. There are a few other sensors that have a life span. Although the owners manual does not specify things like the O2 sensors actually have a life span, and may require replacement after a certain amount of time. Things like proper tire inflation, quality of fuel used, amount of weight in the trunk, condition of your air filter, and loads applied to the engine will all have a negative effect on fuel economy. Any recent service info would be helpful in assisting you in the right direction. Oh and whats your oil level like and what type of fuel have you been using?
