I am trying to get this written up as an authoritive infosite. There is so much contradictory posts on this as to the cams being retarded vs advanced.
I followed most's guidance and advanced my 248 cam +2.5 degrees and lost all power. It's absolutely sucked. However, retarding it 2.5 degrees has proven a lot better in feel.
Has anyone degreed these?
As soon as I get the info I will post up my camshaft calculator page that will show all DOHC cams for both intake and exhaust as well as allow for advance and retard. It will return centerlines, LSA, etc. It will be on DriftKat.com. Right now the site is down as my domain nameserver is being updated.
