Well my springs are finally in. They are the Espiler 1.6 drop for the gloria. They went in with no issues. My only wish is that the fronts would be lower to match the backs. My buddy told me that he could cut a half a coil, not a whole one since the gap between the springs is very large. The only issue would be a possible "popping" when turning. Not sure I want to deal with that.

Well here is the before:

Here are the afters:

I didnt measure the before, but it is a 40mm drop. The rear is good for me, the front is too high but i may just deal with it.

Looks awesome! I know you might really like the 'clean' look, however, sometimes a quality slight tint would make this car really stand out (and give you some privacy from on-lookers gazing at the fish driving by...lol) Seriously, give it some thought. You are in FL, it will protect your leather from the UV, keep your AC from working OT, protect you and your passengers from flying glass in the unlikely event of glass breakage, give you and your passengers privacy, and protect anything you might have in visible sight on your seats or floor from being seen easily (during holiday season, especially).

It overall looks great, just my 2 cents about tint. Good job overall!!! (nice wheels too!)

I'd like to know also, any effect on body roll? Ride stiffness? Looking good!

I fully plan on getting it tinted. Its going maybe 30%.

On the handling, the car is great and very tight. It significantly reduced the bodyroll. I love it!

Love the car!

FWIW, here is mine with 28% LLumar Formula One on the glass(35% on the windshield).

Hello,Jade, you might want to check out Huper Optik Nanoceramic window film. The heat rejection, compared to dyed or metal tints, must be experienced to believe. Since applying it, I have raised the climate control by ten degrees. I believe Mercedes Benz is using it OEM for the S Class and others.Cheers,ML

Whats the difference on cost? I am looking at between 120 and 180 for the "regular stuff".

Hello,My tint cost $325.00. Some areas it does cost around $500.00. I think it is cheaper here in Florida due to the competition. If possible, go to a store that offers Huper Optik. They have a display which shows the differences between the technologies. The heat rejection has to be experienced to be believed.Cheers,ML

Awesome! Where did you buy these from? Did the front end up settling a bit?

This is about as close as I have--if it's too dark for you, you could always do 50%. I *love* the 35% on the windshield...

Mannnnnn I can't get a break anywhere... I got the springs from ClutchKick and can't seem to find a shop with a reasonable labor rate to put them on the car.

The St(d)ealer wants $1000 to swap them out. the other reputable place wants $550.

What-da-Hell???

Its not that easy. Unfortunately with our cars you have to drop the entire front suspension to access the springs. Its not like most cars where you can unbolt the swingarm and push out the shock to access the springs. Its a bear from what I hear. Thats why I took it to my friends shop. The rears are really easy though. You can unbolt from the bottom and slide them out and slide the new ones in. It should be about 3-4 hours of labor if you have a lift and all the right tools. I paid $180 to have mine done.

It does look sweet. Any night vision issues? If so then 50% might be the ticket since heat reflection is my main goal.

I love the how the car rides. Its tight and very precise. What type of picture would you like. The close up of the rear tire shows the gap. Do you want just a picture of just the gap?
