Great, thanks for your input! I will purchase a Zaino product then to give it a shot, but which one do you think I should get? I am looking for a wax. Don't need a wash, or anything.
Your best bet would be to give it an annual detail with the minimum of:
Wash: Any car shampoo works well. I like Optimum No-RinseClay bar: Any will work however the cheapest way would be to go to Autozone and pick up the $10.99 "kit"Polish: Depends on your paint's condition...I had to hit my dad's 2008 535xi with three polishes so YMMV. My favorites in order of abrasiveness: Poorboy's Professional and Sonus Swirlbuster, the former contains acrylic fillersGlaze: Depends on the color of the car but you can't go wrong with either Klasse or Poorboy'sSealant: Optimum Opti-Seal followed by Zaino Z5 Pro with Grand Finale and ZFX...no need to use anything else
Honestly, if you use just a Zaino product, you won't get the benefit and will feel cheated. Your car's paint needs at least an annual detail to maintain and protect the paint. My garaged cars get one at the start of spring and one toward the end of fall, just before they go into hibernation in the garage. My "outside" car gets one additional detail during the summer.
