I have a 93 240 SE coupe. I'm losing power on and off. it varies. sometimes at WOT and sometimes when I'm barely giving it gas. Its like it the car is dies but doesnt. also it just started hesitating yesterday. Can't fgure out what the problem is. please help me

It could be a timing issue, it could be a MAF issue, could be an EGR issue or it could be an IAC/V issue. I would check all of that.

haven't had time to check any of those things, but now its hesitating bad and when i stop it stalls if I don't keep giving it gas. I really need help quick, This is my daily driver and I need it to get to work tomorrow.

How would I check those, minus the timing since its been set already.

hey man its really not that hard to clean your maf and IACV. Go buy MAF cleaner, take out your air box and gently spray the inside of the MAF. Make sure not to spray directly on the wire inside the hole. And for the IACV its located the the very back of you intake manifold. It has two connectors on it, one blue and the other orange i think. There are 4 bolts holding it in and it is kinda of biotch to take off. Take the opoxy off the screw and clean the spring inside. Also it could be a fuel pressure issue. I'd replace your fuel filter, then replace your fuel pressure regulator, cause thats a 76 dollar part. Shouldn't take more that a couple of hours to clean ur MAF and IACV. hope that helps

how many pinholes should be on the maf pigtail because on the maf there is 4 pins but on my pigtail there is only 3.

well checked the MAF and cleaned it ,now my car backfires here and there, and it didn't fix my problem, now on to the iacv
