So I started my TTZ this afternoon, and there is an abnormal tinking noise coming from around my 1st or 3rd cylender. Now the noise stays consistant with the RPM's, so it has to be something related to engine directly.. Atleast thats what I think.. So im guessing worn out wrist pin on my rod, or mabye a detonation problem, I need some of yalls advice. So what do yall think, am I just jumping to a bad conclusion or what???? So all good advice very welcomed.....

No codes have been thrown yet, but with a worn wrist pin, it wouldnt cause a code to be thrown.... Thats why I am leaning towards a worn wrist pin, the tinking noise is dead on consistant with the RPM's of the motor, therefore putting the relation of the sound directly in the line of my cylinders... What else could it be, the car runs fine, no weird idle or anything... It even still gets up just as well. I think my main problem was putting 450whp to a motor that has 100k miles..

How long did it sit since you last ran it? Could be a stuck, empty hla. Could also be a bad injector, does it have a miss as well?

Sat in driveway for about 5 days, decided to go for a nice drive this afternoon, and then "tink tink tink"..... It has no miss fire, I was also thinking detonation problem? What else could it be?
