I have a VQ30 engine Twin Turbo, at 12 psi making around 450 hp.I am blowing out the water at high RPM, 5-6KI removed the stock thermostat for flow. but I am pushing out the water.I have a Ron Davis radiator.Does any one have a race setup for the engine cooling system?Thanks

sounds like you have a blown head gasket i run a similer set up in my sandcar vq30det dont reuse the nissan tty bolts they suck brandon

You definately have a blown head gasket. Switch to copper, and if that doesnt work, go old school and ring the sleeves with the copper h/gskt. You may even be moving the sleeves around a bit with that boost level, Im not sure. Sounds like you need a custom block for reliability.

How'd you go? I'm going to be setting the VQ30det i have up with twins and hoping to run 1 bar / 14psi... i'd rather not have the same issues if i can help it.

Old school method is aluminium paint between the head and the block... thats your gasket :p

I dont recomend it, but it's been known to work. I would suggest replacing all the bolts.
