Its a little bit premature to give that answer at this time. I will update the figures a little later.Teknic73 wrote:
HOW MUUUUUUUCH?
At this time, What I have coming to me is the front and the rear bumper. I do have a couple of options1. a. To have the indentation on the bumper evened by a good body shop to allow me to use my m45 stock grill and lights. b. To have a custom grill insert made by a good fiberglass fabricator to my specification to allow me to retain the original autech bumper shape if i decide to do #2 below at a later time.mrmark wrote:I like the bottom, but not the indentation for the grill. I assume you bought the grill too since the factory won't fit.
Definately rare !!!!!
Yes....they're more upright on the inside line next to the grill.vzuptnguyen wrote:i dont think that grill flows with the headlights like the USDM does. but other than that its not bad.
btw are those headlights different? i mean in shape.
Correct....the USDM grill has that "beak" for the crash guard. The JSPEC bumpers are more smooth.ClutchKick wrote:If you are spending that much $ on a bumper... Don't start messin it up with even more bondo to have them shave the grille section... The angle of the front bumper as well is probably not going to match up to the US grille once it is shaved unless they re-form that part to match up to the grille...
Your in Palmdale... not to far from me... Lookin forward to seeing how it turns out though!
oh you mean they curve up more? does that mean different hood as well?mrmark wrote:

No...hood is the same....vzuptnguyen wrote:

The wheels are on that car are actually WORK SL 19 inch (F: 9J+24 R: 10J+24)Tires are (F: 235/35/19 R: 265/30/19) But Leon hardiritt ordens would also do as they are similar. But I will save that for later once I get my suspension sorted out.auditech10 wrote:Ive always liked the Autech kit. That Cedric posted is SICK! I love those Ordens, too.Good luck with getting the bumper to work. Is the front bumper the only part you got?
I actually love my m45 lights and m45 grill more than the ones on the base car. I intend to actually retain them on the car with the kit . Riverside is not too far out. We can link up for a meet ltr on.ClutchKick wrote:If you are spending that much $ on a bumper... Don't start messin it up with even more bondo to have them shave the grille section... The grille and hood ornament look like it wants to be an MB clone. Totally out of sync with the clean look of the body. So unfortunate, but typical of JDM modifications. Glad OEM has avoided that look.mrmark wrote:I like the bottom, but not the indentation for the grill.
