Or, we can hunt down all of the "OMG I'm gonna listen to emo, call it punk, and play thrashing guitar music so I can feel less conformist (like everyone else) and more hardcore so people will think I'm cool, even though I pretend not to care what they think" listeners. <-- That was pretty stupid, huh? Just because you like one type of music, doesn't mean you have to bash on another to make your preferred genres look better. Or are you that pressed to make your style of music look better? Me, I don't particularly care for country/western/bluegrass, but I won't hate on it if it floats someone else's boat. That's as pointless as a KA vs. SR beef.
And for the record, I listen to a diverse range of music, and would like to find more good rock and metal. Since you are particularly fond of this type of music (and thus likely to have a better insight on it than a casual listener like myself), do you have any recommendations?
