Well, if you're under 25, unmarried and don't own a home with multiple cars, you're pretty much screwed. You will be paying high insurance on a Z because it is a two seat, high powered sports car. About the only thing you can do is shop around for insurance and perhaps consider buying a junker to insure on the same policy to get the muti car discount. It obviously would depend on the discount to see whether or not the additional cost of insuring the other car would be worthwhile.

Of course buying a house and insuring that with the same company would help too. Then you would have a good place to put the Z.

i would agree with the geico suggestion. I am 20, and the insurance on my Z with 500 deductables was about 1800/6 months. I got a discount as a govt employee.

i figured a 4 door 4 cly awd would be cheaper then my 6cyl rew 2 door convt, but it turns out that STI's are a high risk car for young drivers. SO instead of my insurance going down, it actually went up by about 70 dollars.

Let me tell you, ins stinks and i have a perfect record!..for now..

p.s. 72 in a 45 > illegal speed contest..

I'm in NH, 20 years old, almost 4 years with a license. Two speeding tickets and one non inspection violation.

Quote for full coverage from progressive was 950 a year.

[threadjack]Sig rules are there for a reason man. zerothread/219422[/threadjack]

I'm 25, have a clean history for as long as it matters, and I took defensive driving. I pay 1200 a year for my Hardbody and my NX2000. I haven't insured the Z yet. I should see what that's going to be.

GEICO FTW!!!!20 year old with a 2002 civic, and a 93 240.i had one ticket 82 in a 55 which got plea bargained to a moving violation. i took defensive driving last year and switched to geico which saved me a ton.i just added the 240 as a second car the other day and with collission and comprehensive i'm only paying 500 a year.so yeah geico is awesome
