Well here is my 180SX Exhaust. I put it on last month. Had Kakimoto on before but the thing was a full Muffler with a huge resonator and was too restrictive. Now I have the GP Sports EXAS Spec D full race Exhaust, 2 piece, no resonator, only one bend and a straight shot 80mm all the way. No restriction whatsoever:

Best pic i could find of the exhaust my now-totaled S13 coupe had. It was pretty much a junkyard-found pacesetter, the piping is 2.5" and i had the restrictive dual-tip chopped off and a more favorable Magnaflow Racing series muffler welded on. It's a lot like the BRM design, there's a bend after the last exhaust hangers. It was loud and got raspy at high rpm (no resonator). I'm gonna sell it and get a HKS hiper for my red s13 probably.

it's kinda hard to see in the on car pics but here they are. the mounts on the muffler were bent so it sat high and rattled on the tow hook. i cut off the tow hook and it sits even higher, now it is melting my bumper a little. on the left is the old loud crush bent exhaust that came on the car, on the right is nismo 3"

Here's my Apex'i Dual N1. It's a lot louder on my DOHC than on my SOHC. It also sounded better with the 5spd, cuz I could control the RPM's more. It's a little too blingy for my taste, and it's already starting to rust where it rubs on the sway bar. Next time, I'll probably go with a BRM, or RS-R Exmag.

Brother you can tuse the stock rubber hangars...you need to get some extra large ones..They sell them here and should in the staes. They are about 20 bucks each for the Greddy ones...with the 180, on m ost exhaust you do have to cut the tow hook, I did mine too, but then the A/M mufflers will go high as hellw ith the little stock hangars tucked way up under there..

I got it in Sept of '03. It's not too bad. The powdercoating got rubbed off where it touches the sway bar.

Gotta love the winters in the Northeast.

You're not the first person to ask! I've needed to do it and maybe this weekend I'll be able to.

I'm a huge fan of those ones with LED's on them and ones that have lights in them to make it look like flames are coming out!!!

But seriously, I'm a fan of the angled dual tips...I think they look fricken hot if installed right. I see them on a lot of VW's...(see below).

I'm going to get a new exhaust soon and I'm going to see what these look like. I'm definately going to go with a dual tip muff but I want to see what these will look like on the back of my 240.

I like it best when the muffler is as hidden as possible and some sexy tips just barely peek out from underneath the bumper...

ah... your coupe is so gorgeous. I got a pint of aztec red for my coupe so i took the trunk lid off my dead white coupe, took off the spoiler, and i'm going to bondo the holes. Coupes look so much better without wings (unless they're wangan wings, but i can't find anyone who sells them for a coupe ) BTW, are your sidemarker lights burned out?
