Bex and I went out to Irvine, CA this weekend for the JCCS show... this was the 5th year, and it was bigger than ever!

NICOclub is now also a sponsor of the JCCS, and we're very proud to be affiliated with such a great group of people.

I'll let the pictures do the talking, but this is a show you do NOT want to miss in 2010!

Link to the entire gallery at the end - Take some time and roam through, there was SO much cool stuff to see!!!

Here's the link to the main thread in photobucket. Sorry for the glare in the pictures, evidently my camera doesn't like full sun.

This beautiful '59 won best in show. One of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen.

I'll probably have some of my pics up tomorrow. It's taking FOREVER to load.

It was a great show and I had a great time going with you guys. Nice to see some of you other NICOnaunts too!

There were SO many awesome cars there...

There wasn't a single 411 or NL320 there. This means if we had taken "Alice" and "Peanut" they'd have been the only ones!

Time to get serious about selling the G35 so I can really get crankin' on the classic restorations!

I also think that green '59 had a ridiculously low amount of miles, but I forgot how much.

Sooo clean.

I talked with the owner of this car for a while, he is a cool guy.He said he wants more power and is thinking of a supercharger or something.

I also found my picture in Greg's album. I need to get a haircut and also start exercising again.

You should make plans to go next year. It needs a stronger Nissan presence. It seemed like there were more Datsuns than any other manufacturer but Toyota does most of the sponsoring and advertising. We want to change that.

Well technically in order for it to be "classic" it would have to be a Datsun since Nissan didn't come around until 1980 and Infiniti 8 years later.

Now in saying that how many cars badged Nissan were manufactured in those 8 years? I'm asking cause I don't know.

Now if you're talking Nissan cars then most would be JDM and those are a little harder to come by IMO.

Damn I wish I would've saved to go. I'll try and be there next year, I figure I can get the Z slammed and running well enough to drive it half way across the country in 12 months.

Nice pics. It's cool to see there was such a great Datsun showing there. I've been wanting to go there for a few years but it's a little far for me. I really need to plan ahead to try to make it in the next couple years.

Actually, the Nissan name was established in 1934. But you are right, the Datsun badge did come first....in 1914.

Greg-

Glad I found out about this at the last minute and made it up. Next time I come to AZ I will get in touch so that we can talk NL's and restoration parts. Tony and I enjoyed talking to you and Becky about injection molding. Great job on the pics, as I forgot my camera...

Hey Dave!

Anytime, my friend - It was good to meet a fellow NL owner. You'd better bring yours next year, so I'll have something to park next to!

Let me know when you make it out to AZ and we'll catch up!
