Looking at the 2005 Mitchell book, it says either with or without premium package, but not sure what the premium package for that year really was tho.

Where did you find the climate controlled seats? I'm looking for some.

From reviewing the factory service manual it appears that the climate controlled seats are a completely separate system from the car's climate controls. That portion of the service manual is poorly written - probably a bad english translation - but as best I can tell it's separate. You can read up on it at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

If I were in your position, I would call Infiniti of Scottsdale and ask if there is more than one part number for the part you need in the '05 model line. You can get their number from their web site at http://www.everythinginfiniti.com

All of that said, how do you know that you need a new climate control unit?

thanks guys i already check with the dealer and its different part number. They said that the climate control unit with climate control seats is different from the one without so im gonna have a hard time finding one used......Im tempted to get it and see if it works anyways....oh yea i need a new climate control because a s*** load of water was poor into it and some of the buttons no longer works

When you say climate control, I'm assuming you mean hot and cold settings. I have the premium pack. w/ the heated seats but live in south Florida and have no need for them, however, I would LOVE to have the ability to cool my seats..Good luck and keep us posted.

That would do it! From reviewing the FSM, it appears that the switches (buttons) are separate from the control unit. Do you know if the problem is with the switches, or if it's actually the control unit?
