I know there's some people in the city, and there are several, including myself, upstate. There is a regional section on here for the northeast, you can probably find a thread in there of just NY ppl. Meet info in there too.

South Jersey over here. About an hour and 15 away from the city. I used to have a number for a Brooklyn Q45 mechanic named Bobby Q45. Dunno if he's still in business though.
