Hy

Anyone knows the stock waste-gate opening pressure of a S14A sr20det? I connect the waste-gate hose directly to the boost-pipe / charge pipe.

I have some problems whit controlling the boost whit my AVC-R. So i disconectit the AVC-R. Then i connect the waste-gate as described above but is is boosting at 1 bar (14PSI) at 4800revs then i let off the throttle before it over-boost.

Stock is 7.5 psi I believe. Do you have the controller hooked up correctly?

Yes the controller is hooked up correctly. But whatever we do its always over boosting past 4000rpm. So to see of the wast-gate and/of acculator are oke i connectit the wast-gate acculator directly to the chargepipe/hotpipe/boostpipe whatever. As far as my turbo knowledge go's i only see the amount of boost as set by the wastegate spring. But is still overboosting after 4000rpm. The waste-gate is good and moves free. So i think the wast-gate acculator is broken?

Try hooking the waste-gate directly to the hot pipe with no controller, and see what psi it runs. If it goes past 7.5 you know its a faulty actuator.

I have a actuator of a CA18 t25. Anyone knows of it wil fit a SR20det t28?

Awesome!I don't know if using a t25 actuator on a t28 will be safe. You can try it though... Its not gonna be any worse than it is now.

Get an HKS actuator and call it done.

HA i was just researching this there shouldnt be any issue, AFAIK both are around 7 PSI. You will need the moutning flange thing from the t28, and it will bolt right up.

125 dollar fix vs free? Common. lol

I did it though, and i was digging around the garage for a funnel and found my old blown t25 and actuator...ya i was pissed.
