Mandrel is over kill for stock 4 cylinder considering the cost, but if you plan on doing many mods down the road go for it. Just depends on your budget. I have seen guys with built motors not gain 1 hp between regular and mandrel bent pipes. In theory that is a perfect flowing system but in the real world it is over kill on 99.9 % of road vehicles. Most never run to the peak of performance to take advantage of it. Not slamming anyone who wants them, but why pay for stuff that is basically useless. Like the 2 foot wing on a honda, that thing cannot go fast enough to generate enough wind to actually use the wing for what it is meant for LOL but hey that never stopped folks from buying them. It is just me but if it does not make an improvement in the real world performance or comfort or safety, why waste the cash. On stock 4 cyl any decent cat back is fine, you will not see or feel any performance increase by a exhaust system alone. Check the magazines, not since the old days of V8's choked by restrictive exhausts has it alone done much at all.
