trunk pop on 2003 m45???

does anyone have a issue with this i find my self without the key in the ignition having to ask a stranger who walks by if they can pop my hood while i go to the back and catch it for it to open ... or try running from the trunk pop button to the trunk.. not fun any suggestions..

Mine had it, replaced the trunk "pop" on the latch under warranty...

The aftermarket "prop" fix from napa might help you as well as they lift the trunk as opposed to having to lift it yourself.... several threads on that with a part#

Never even realized this was a problem on the M45. Jason Burtman sells a truck kit for the Q45 that may work for the M45 too check out http://www.burtmanindustries.com for more info.

I had the same problem when I got my car and I didnt really care the issue cause I do not have family and I RARELY go grossery shopping. I just want that Horse power! yeah!
