So I was driving today and my car randomly lost complete power...like everything went off- lights, motor...everything. I rolled to a stop and put the car in park and it started fine. It acted completely normal from there.

Any ideas?

Its hard to diagnose this stuff, so I am just fishing for possibilities right now. It could have been something stupid like I hit the key to the off position too...I really dont know...hasnt happened before.

Unusual ...

Have you checked the battery condition? How old is it?

This is why the older cars that didn't have an ECU controlling the engine were easier to diagnose and fix. I'm sorry my friend but unless you have a computer diagnostics tool we're all gonna be in the dark. Something like that, even if it's happened to someone else, is not necissarily the same issue. I would just bite the bullit and take it to Infiniti to have it properly diagnosed. Something like this happening while at high speeds could be fatal!
