Got my Energy Suspension rear leaf spring bushing set today, I love the big brown magical goodies bringer truck...I mean UPS. Still waiting for Summit Racing to send out my Hellwig rear sway bar, that's on backorder till 3/20. With spring right around the corner I can't resist the itch any longer.

Awesome. You take such good care of that truck, too. Not too abusive like some guys, but just enough. You can see that invisible line between practical and radical. You do a good job of running right up to it, then stopping and laughing about it.

How many miles are on the 95? Maybe next thing could be that PDM C.406 camshaft and ECU upgrade. Cam would be an upgrade even with the stock computer, but would also compliment the U12 ECU when you get around to messing with it some more.

Do you tow with this truck or haul anything close to the max payload? If so I don't know how well a hotter cam would do. Instead of torque at 3600rpm, you would have it at like 4100rpm. Acceptable to some, but still something to think about. C.406 would probably run the torque right out to redline (past it, too, but that is just bogue).

It's my baby and I plan on keeping it for a while. I try to be more strategic when it comes to mods, that's for sure. Every year a little more is done. I work at my pace, not at a "I have to show it off next week" breakneck pace. I also don't mind spending the extra change on things like stainless nuts, bolts and washers. I just take my time and savor the moment.

I haul a lot of gardening equipment with it during the summer, I work as a part time property manager. If I tow anything it would be our lawn tractor which isn't too small. I would never load it up to the point where the bumper is dragging on the ground. I am never one to abuse something I intend to keep nice, make it earn its food for sure but never abuse. I am the same way about anything I own now, I try to keep it in as great shape as possible. Also I see breakage as a chance to upgrade.

I have a spare used cam sitting on a shelf in the bedroom. I might not get around to that till next year because of the cost of re-grinding it and replacing all the rockers...something I insist on doing. The ECM is slowly coming along as well. Trying to learn at the same time as gather parts, I can be so slow about things sometimes.

I am replacing brakes all the way around this spring. I found a nice set of Performance Friction brake pads for this truck..next weekend I will start that as well as changing oil and finishing the gauge sandwich adapter install.

Thanks for the compliments. I take a lot of pride in my work and I like everything to look OEM when I am finished. Mileage is 111k.

How much was the rear bar rev? I have done the urethane bushings in the leafs already as my stock bushings were trash. great upgrade tightened up the azz end a good bit. I want to do something about the body roll in turns. But like you I do not want to ruin the everyday use of a TRUCK. no suspension slams for me LOL

Summit Racing had it for $189 w/ shipping. The catch is it's on backorder till 3/20/10. Did you go with Energy Suspension in the rear? Black or Red?

Yes ES black, my truck is not tricked out enough for RED lol I thought it may look funny in red sense the truck is daily driver and not tricked out. I keep it clean and all but basically stock looking so I opted for the black. Thanks will look into the bar I really want to kill off the body roll in corners. I kind of drive hard LOL I corner hard in everyday driving. The sides of my tires get used hehe. I am also hard on brakes my days of motorcycles makes me want to go fast stop hard and corner hard. Just old habits I guess.

Black is impregnated with graphite, red isn't.

I did not know that, sounds like I got the right ones then. I made sure they greased them before installing and so far no squeaks, I know if not lubricated right they will squeak like hell after time.

I can't to feel what the truck will handle like with ES bushings front and rear. Combine that with the rear sway bar...I am drooling just thinking of it.

I did all my own work minus the alignment. It only cost me the price of the parts.

I do not have the tools to do the stuff I want to do, but have a shop that does not mind doing install of aftermarket parts I get. I can do brakes tune ups and anything electrical inside the truck and stereo installs and junk. But I do not have the space for the tools and stands and stuff to do the suspension stuff.
