s15 helical into S13HICAS VLSD housing?

I've searched for a while but haven't found an answer. Does anyone know if an s15 HLSD will fit into a VLSD housing for an S13 HICAS car? I can't imagine I'm the first to do it.I'll be able to get an open diff if it doesn't but then I suppose I'd also need an SPL HICAS eliminator instead of the simple bar-type eliminator I currently have. Don't really want to spend the extra $450 for something I already have...

From what i can gather, there should not be a difference in the R200 housing with the Open diff and VLSD diff. So the S15 helical should fit either. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Are the diff covers for VLSD and open the same or different- I guess that's what I'm most worried about.

if you're trying to put s15 hLSD in your hicas R200 diff housing, it can be done. You can still use the vlsd cover for more oil capacity too

If you use an s15 rear cover because u have one (why), the cover will bolt on but the diff wont bolt up to the s13 subframe.

swap internals, use the same cover. If you wanna downgrade to the non hicas cover i'll trade ya, but both will work great hahaha.Make sure you buy the 6bolt s15 output shafts for the hicas diff. They'll bolt right up to s13 axles.Have fun with extreme grip at no cost of extra understeer!

Thanks. That's what I was looking for. I've got the axles and HLSD already- just waiting to verify and get some help (I invariably screw things up when working on important stuff by myself).
