I've used a 2-step before and yes allow for boost to be built on the line depending on the size of the turbo etc.

Yep. They work great too.

I have quite a few tunes with 2-step built in. I also have a stock KA-DE tune, but with 2-step already in it so you can build your tune from there.

There is quite a few of them available online. But as with most of them, use at your own risk.

i love it for the fireballs it throws...

an excellent way to take off quick without feathering the throttle..stop, engage first gear, hold clutch, floor the gas pedal, dump the clutch...instant whiplash(not gonna happen on a t25... ).

Hey, my T25 loved that 2-step. And the current one does too! (3076R)

I'm working on a new one right now. Trying to get the ign retard/fuel cuts right.

Does the launch control work by cutting the spark?I'd guess it isn't something you'd want to do often because it could wash your cylinder walls with fuel.

Sounds like a cool idea though!

1 step: kill ignition only...not good for engine...good for bigger fireballs...2 step: kill ignition and fuel..hence called two step... good for motor, smaller fireballs, excellent launches...

/\both setups disliked by clutch..

You build way more boost by an ignition cut only system. By cutting the ignition it allows fuel to be dumped in and ignited going to the turbo making for nice amounts of boost. Its damaging to the turbo over time though.
