I bought mine with jl audio sub in custom box made to fit on the right side of trunk (by jack) has mono amp and seperate amp for interior speakers (boston) 31 band eq and active crossover sound great. That was one of the reason I bought the car equipment was worth more than the selling price, the car was in fail safe mode for transmission only 3rd gear turned out to be shift solenoid B

Mine is In the trunk but I don't like the sound , it seems the metal between the tank and the inside of the car muffles the sound of the sub, I want to know if anyone if anyone has put one in the cab of the car

Yeah, but there are vents that go from your trunk to your cabin on the rear side of the rear deck. You could try removing the compartment between the rear speakers and put tan grille speaker fabric over the hole.

You'd probably just allow more undesired noise through that way. The compartment is DIRECTLY over the fuel pump and tank, so you'd probably get more humming and rattling through the hole than bass.

No, but its pretty straight forward. Remember, you have to remove the rear seats to remove the rear deck.

you are right about that. This is why i added my own noise to get rid of that noise.. It doesnt look OEM, but this would work for me

Better yet remove it and put a speaker grill over it (enough to cover the rectangular hole) then put some cloth to match the sun decks original color so it doesn't look to out of place.
