  M35 (2006) - Battery replacement

Changed battery on my M35 (2006) model. The auto window (up) does not work anymore. How can this be fixed? What caused it?

Probably needs to be reset. Roll the window down all the way. Then hold your finger on the button to roll it all the way up, and keep holding the button for at least 5 seconds after it has finished raising. That should reset it, and auto-up should work ok after that.

Thanks very much. Your suggestion worked. Another problem I am having is with the sliding sun roof. It does not slide all the way back. It does so in increments and stops. Is this fixable? (Best Regards)

Funny, I did this a few weeks ago and have the same problems with both the windows and the sun roof.

After changing the battery out once, not sure I'll ever do it again, what a pain. When I got the new battery in, the negative pole was too slim and the clamp on the cable would not tighten down on it, even more of a pain.

I think my sun roof started working on it's own some how, but will try to solve the window issue tonight, hope it works.

Go to a battery shop that keeps you hooked up to 12 volts. I went to Sears; no problems-got their Platinum battery-best on the market, but spendy...

The sunroof started working in Auto mode by itself.
