I just purchased the car yesterday. I got code 33 and i checked the o2 and found this.

Now can i just cut the wire and hook it up to the o2 sensor? or because it's a coaxial cable. Thats why im asking if it's ok to just cut and connect it or do i have to do something special>? Thanks

I think you will be ok to cut it and replace the connector. You still have enough of shield over the wire.

Either that or you can go to any auto store and purchase a new connector... just cut it and bring the old with you to make sure you get the correct sized head. You can also purchase new shield. Should run you maybe 3 bux for the wire, and you will more then likely have to buy the shield material at a full size... maybe 5-8 bux.
