hey guys, I'm pulling my rb25neo from my S13 to install in a kouki i just picked up, my question is this, can i change out my stock rod bolts by not pulling the head off? i was thinking i could un bolt the pan and loosen them up and install the ARP's from the bottom. would that be possible? i know of s14-neo that had his neo upwards of 450 for a while, on stock internals before a rod bolt stretched, but i would like to have mine live a bit longer, also the bolts are cheap, and i figure i could do it while the engine is out, what do you guys think?

I don't think that is possible. you could take the crank out to get rods out. but i don't think you cold get the pistons back in from the bottom.

you have to press out the old bolts. also you should maybe not reuse the rod bearing if you are changing bolts.
