Are you asking about HID kits or standard halogens?

4300 will give you a "whiter" light output. The lower the number, the whiter the light. The higher the number, the brighter and bluer, (generaly speaking), but does not mean better visability.

Osram seems to finally have resolved the short lifespan problem with the Ultras, so I feel okay recommending them. Stay away from standard Silverstars, though. You'll likely end up replacing them every few months.

Hi tmorales, we carry HID bulbs for your Maxima made by HALO.

HALO manufactures their bulbs in Japan and they are very high quality at a good price. Check out http://www.halolightstore.com. The bulb I would go with would be the one with a 6000K temperature color.

Use HALOFB15 at checkout for 15% off your purchase. If you need help with anything just shoot me a PM

thanks

Most of the HID 'kits' - the bulbs aren't shielded and thus give an 'un-focused' light that is mostly glare to oncoming cars. Read up on what you're getting into. I've found that Sylvania XtraVision (a regular halogen bulb at parts stores and ever Walmart) are a good compromise between prices, at only about $10 per bulb, compared to $20+ for Silverstars. Good luck. Your best bet would be to replace the whole light assembly with HID projrectors, but that's$$$.
