I'm just about the replace the o2 sensors in my salvage 99. I replaced all four on my 97 a while back and remember the back two being easy and the front two being a real b*tch-especially the driver front which required me to remove the power brake booster and master cylinder.

With those memories in mind I just went to spray PB Blaster the o2 sensors on the 99 and noticed that the front two are mounted differently and appear much more accessible than on my 97. They look like they are removed from the bottom. A nice break since its cold and windy here.

pics soon.

Finished the install. Sorry, no pics cause its too cold and there issn't really much to see anyway.

Very straight forward repair, like I said before the rears are a snap, make sure to use some sort of oil on them prior to breaking them loose. The frints on the 99 were pretty easy and much easier than the 97 because of the way they are oriented. On my 97 both front o2 sensors came out from the top and on the 99 it was done from the bottom. Only real tricky part of job is securing the wire leads.

Got the 02 sensors from sparkplugs.com. I ordered all four in NGK but the front ones were backordered and so they swapped in Denso's ($10 cheaper to boot). I called to check on the order (parts were backordered twice) and she gave me 10% off for my "trouble" and then gave me next day shipping for the price of 3 day ($30 savings).

Also got some Denso wiperblades too for $5 each. I'm tired of expensive blades as they dont last any longer on my cars, i've gone back to cheap versions replaced often.
