Has anyone else had their emergency brake freeze up and not release? I was parked on a hill and engaged my emergency brake, and 2 hours later when i went to move the car the emergency brake would not release. The handle went down but it would not release. I took it to the dealership and they claimed the found nothing wrong with it. has anyone else had this problem???
It happened twice in one week, I was parked in my mothers driveway which is a steep incline. It was about 20 degrees out, but pleanty of cars have been parked in the very same driveway for longer periods of time in colder temperatures and this never happened. The first time it happened the car was only parked there for 15 minutes and the second time only 2 hours.
