? Rotory

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

dont do it. those motors take so much $$ to make them fast. if your just going for uniqueness then by all means do it if your looking for speed and uniqueness then you might wanna think of other options

Most people are trying to get the rotary OUT of their car.

I browsed lightly and only found talk about making one, but everybody came to their senses and such a thing hasn't been made ...I'm guessing.

There's a guy here in Australia who has done a 13B into a S13. Fits easy as, and rotaries can make fantastic power if done right. If done wrong they will cause nothing but headaches

You put a silvia motor in your rotary car and you're trying to sell your rotary engine... there's a reason it isn't in your car anymore. lol.

research rotaries...they are practically indistructable...almost any rotary engine you buy you want to rebuild yourself...get a master rebuild kit for 1200 bucks...thats the corner seals from the 3rd gen rx7 and 3mm apex seals...throw that rebuild on a "blown" s5 engine like mine and its ready for 300 horses...rotaries are nice but a huge money and oil pit...if u have patience and time go rotary for the uniqueness...if you want practicallity and reliability and super rarity? sell the rotary and go for a 65lb lighter sr20det....mmmm rareness...ls1 is overrated

youre a good man....my rotary started smoking and transmission is doin rough so i looked into either a turbo rotary or a rebuild and turbo on my ss5 n/a rotary....it was around 3500-4000 to do all this work for very little...my mechanic only messes with sr20det swaps and stuff and he just fabricated new mounts for the swap so he said 4000 cash and ill have a sick rare turn-key swap...forget rotary and forget a heavy ls1....go with the most aggressive and sexy car ever...(2nd gen rx7....my opinion) and throw in the best engine ever that is 65lbs. lighter than the 13b....and you got a mean rare badass car that'll tear up the drift track and be one of a kind at any car show

false, false, EXTRA false, ehh.

there's a reason why everyone and their grandmother swap sr20's into 240's.

as for rb's...
turbo inline-6.
need i say more?

i just think wilshiresrx7's rotary-powered ego has made him sound rather ignorant with the comment about LS1's being overrated.
as well as his "indestructable" rotary engine theory.
yes, they can be extremely reliable IF maintenance is performed regularly.
otherwise they crap out in no-time.
