warranty question?

does anyone know if the key is covered under warranty? i have the intellikey and the loop that attaches to a keyring snapped off and apart from the key inside the intellikey. (i hope that makes sense) will a dealer provide a new key under warranty? that's really all it would be since the electronics part works fine...

Hi Lou,

Yes the key is covered under warranty, the loop migh be a grey area considering the key is still functional. It'll probably come down to how good your dealer is and how motivated they are to help with this small issue...
