After you did your steering overhaul! well actually how much play did you have in ur steering before and after!? i have a quite a bit of play and i want to get it out of there!!! i need some help in what to check/inspect!

i can't speak for rev... but when i got new ball joints in... the steering tightened up quite a bit

My truck was all over the road one windy day, scared the hell out of me. Found centerlink dead, 1 bad ball joint and one bad tie rod end prompting me to overhaul everything. The steering is much better now but HBs have flimsy steering boxes so there is still a tiny amount of play, nothing like it was on that windy day. I like the way it handles now.

ok.. so i did my brakes today! waht did i find?! I found really warn rotors! both of them had grooves in them!!! GROSS!!! the pads were jacked! the shims on one the pads were completely destroyed... got the new rotors on and the new pads on with no problems... OH MY LORD waht a difference!!! its a whole new beast with those things! Looks like its just an initial thing but ill keep everyone updated to see how these Wagner products wil hold up!

I got a QSTEN centerlink through Carquest. It's the company that makes the OEM ones for Nissan without the Nissan logo on the box. You can go Moog too which isn't a half bad idea with tires the size of yours.

yah cause i got 30x9.5s... and its only going to go up! I am getting a new rear axle with a 4.56 gear and a lsd or a 4.10 c200 axle.. =) so moog! do they make stuff for nissan?!

Yes they do, you could replace your entire front end with Moog. I have Moog upper ball joints.
