are rwd sr valve stem seals the same as the usdm ones?

Exhaust valves are 1mm thicker than the US SR20. So the US valve stem seals will not work. However, IIRC the part number for them is a crossover with a motor here in the states, so you can use the P/N from the parts sticky and get what you're looking for. If that fails, I know for fact that West Covina and Courtesy have them in stock as I ordered my set through Courtesy.
