I wanted to buy a turbo manifold and i have my eye on the Peak Boost but for almost 900 bucks, it kinda brings tears to my eyes. Are there any competitive manifolds out there not log style that wont crack and deliver the performance. Thanx.

Oh and also, the motor im building has 180k miles on it. Is it neccesary to rebuild or buy a new oil pump

try "extreme turbo systems" they have pretty nice looking starter set up for $2200.00 nice manifold, turbo, tial waste gate, and down pipe for s14. they would prolly sell you just the mani if you want. customer non-service with peek boost is very poor and slow.

I orderd a turbo almost 4 weeks ago and still don't have it. i'm lucky if he returns my calls once a week. i'm cancling my order next week ! but good luck to you if you use them.

a good manifold like that will be in that price range though i don't think you will find one much cheaper than 900.00

what are your power goals? While a equal length tubular manifold is awesome, its not really necessary. Yes, the equal length will spool up faster and flow better at higher boost levels (and reduce boost creep?) , but you can make good numbers with a log manifold.

450 on 180k stock motor? rebuild before you look at a manifold to buy imo.

I totaly agree , even a low milage stock block would have a hard time holding up to that !!! I put 300 whp to my 180,000 mi. motor bfore i pulled it . it did well but i wanted to have some to rebuild you might get 350 before she blows but i wouldnt push it. just rebuild with forged internals first.
