Just bought a primo, one owner with 47,000 original miles and continuous Infiniti service records.
Needless to say, condition and mileage made the deal. The only options on the car were rear sun screens and a full size spare.
I realize that the entertainment/display system is a CANBUS and spent an evening reading through the service manual.
My question is this: how hard would it be to update the car by adding NAV and/or Rearview Camera, either by salvage or third party equipment?
Specifically, would the the display controller have to be updated to recognize the NAV inputs and output commands from the Voice Command unit?
Somewhere in the Q45 forums someone said the radio is actually in the tape head, is this true?
Thanks in advance
