Actually you can say that about Every Mod. Modifications make the car better for you, but if your gonna sell it, its worth far more bone stock than any mod you can add. Mods are a decrease in value, simply because, if someone was selling a premodded car, would u buy it? Are the parts quality? Were they installed correctly? Is it to your style liking?

the thing was I kinda liked it, i thought it looked pretty good. Kinda change it up a little bit to me and not stay stock or OEM. I probably won't sell my car at all, but i will keep the stock hood just incase

its a cool looking hood, but on our sentras?

prob not the best idea, it'd just end up looking weird.

one thing about our sentras that i dislike is that they are lacking a certain aggressive looking quality in the front, probably due to the fact that the front hood/engine is so short because, well, duh, the engine is small.

I think hoods like that should be reserved for cars with longer fronts/hoods that look more aggressive like altima coupes and such, sadly

after seeing the pic of your car, it actually might look ok. blue/black is a good combo and it'll only match because the wheels are black.

idk, i think the SE-R/SpecV look pretty aggressive.

And our cars really aren't by any means short, 1inch shorter then the Altima Sedan.

It might look ok, depends on the rest of the car to blend its lines in.

Looks cool. Please post pics when you finish the mod. I've been thinking of doing this mod on my silver but wasn't sure if black on silver looked good and I'm sure it'll be costly to repaint the hood...

No way, just take 4 nuts off and take the old one off, Put the new one on and put the nuts back on. That simple, its just big and awkward, so you need 2 people.

I was expecting something horrifying, but the new Sentras are so chunky looking that it actually kinda works.

Anyway. get hood pins. As tacky as they are (though I think you could find some "stealth" ones that are less tacky looking), they exist for a reason. There are far too many horror stories of hoods flying up and smashing windshields, even causing wrecks, to not get them.

If you got a front lip now you would be set. It would make it look lower and meaner. Maybe some eyelids too. Just fuel for the fire.

That looks pretty legit!!! Almost makes me want a B16. Hmmmm a B14, a B15 and a B16 lol nah rather have a B13 SE-R. As for the hood pin comment I always see those horror stories coming up on no brand hoods never with Vis. I've had my Vis 01 OEM Sentra carbon hood for more than 3 years now (winter summer and all the other seasons that New England throws at it) and never had a problem with it and I dont run pins either. But to each his own just my opinion and i hate the way pins look.
